Middleton Grange Town Centre Planning Proposal

Consultation has concluded

Liverpool City Council has received a revised planning proposal for the Middleton Grange Town Centre at 60-80 Southern Cross Avenue and 45-65 Hall Circuit, Middleton Grange. (Draft Amendment No.63 to the Liverpool Local Environmental Plan 2008)

In line with Council’s Community Participation Plan, Council is seeking community comment on the revised planning proposal.

The proposal would realign zone boundaries to ensure a more logical road layout and amend development standards including floor space ratio (FSR) and height of buildings that apply to the site.

The proposed amendment would facilitate a town centre with buildings ranging from 9.5m-29m in height. The town centre would incorporate a mix of uses as follows:

• Approximately 671 new dwellings;

• Shops and office space;

• A medical and health centre;

• New roads and infrastructure;

• Approximately 7,500sqm of public open space; and

• A new community facility.

The planning proposal will be on public exhibition to view and comment on from Wednesday 13 November to Wednesday 11 December.
