Middleton Grange Town Centre Planning Proposal

Consultation has concluded

The land for the planned Middleton Grange Town Centre is owned by a private developer. Under the current controls, the site is capable of supporting approximately 176 dwellings and 5,000m2 of retail development.

The private developer lodged a proposal to increase the development potential of the site to support approximately 900 dwellings, 20,000m2 of retail development, and 2500m2 of commercial development. It will also allow buildings of up to 12 storeys.

Council is seeking your feedback on the proposal. Public exhibition will run from 29 August to 26 October 2018. You can submit comments through the form below, by mail or by email.

Council will also be holding a Community Forum at Thomas Hassall Anglican College from 6:30pm-8:30pm on Monday 17 September 2018. All relevant key stakeholders will be invited to attend the evening to provide further information and answer inquiries from residents.

Plans have been included in the exhibition materials. Please note that these plans are for information purposes only. There is no Development Application under consideration which has been submitted with this Planning Proposal. Any application for development of the site will be considered by Council separately under the Development Application process.
